The Square D® brand represents a commitment to provide the best electrical products in the industry to our customers. The Laser™ program offers quicker, consistent deliveries anywhere in the contiguous United States. Combination starters can be configured in quick and easy steps by using the NEMA FV Combination Starter selector.
Program Overview
When you choose to order combo starters on the 3-day or 5-day Laser™ program, Square D will drop ship the devices from the Monterrey, Mexico factory or the Mechanicsburg, PA warehouse for delivery on the third or fifth business day after receipt of the order by Square D. As an example of the 3-day program, if the order is received on Tuesday of week one, it will be on the job site Friday of the same week. For the 5-day program, if the order is received on Tuesday of week one, it will be on the job site Tuesday of the next week. Please note Laser™ excludes Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
How do I order a 3-day or 5-day Laser™ combination motor starter?
The only option available for ordering is the newly revised NEMA FV Combination Starter selector. By selecting Laser™ (3-day or 5-day) from the delivery program question, all available options will be listed in subsequent questions.
Will the catalog number change?
The product selector will place the Form letter “Z3” for three day or “Z5” for five day at the end of the catalog number on the order paperwork only. The device and carton label will not reflect the Form letter “Z3” or “Z5”.

Do I pay for premium shipping when I order via the Laser™ program?
The order point location will assemble the order so that there will be adequate time to get the product to the jobsite as scheduled using ground transportation. If for whatever reason standard routing will not get the combos to the jobsite by the third or fifth day after receipt of the order, Square D will pay for premium routing. |
