Actuator Sensor Interface (AS-i)

AS-Interface is a versatile, low-cost, easy-to-install cabling solution that has been designed specifically for use in low-level automation systems where it is a digital replacement for traditional parallel wiring. AS-Interface technology is compatible with virtually any fieldbus or device network. Gateways exist to use AS-Interface with CAN, DEVICENet, PROFIBUS, Interbus, FIP, LON, Modbus®, Modbus® Plus, RS485 and RS232.
