EQ5300/EQ5400
Weld Controller Maintenance
The EQ5300 and EQ5400 weld
controllers help you to improve weld quality, maintenance
efficiency and overall productivity. Each electrician,
operator or maintenance person who enrolls in our
courses learns to optimize system performance and
to identify problem areas in advance of system malfunction.
Early identification often allows for equipment repairs
or replacements before machine downtime occurs.
Our weld control courses teach all
aspects of troubleshooting and hardware installation
from the principles for selection, to design and implementation.
Specifically, you will learn to:
- Demonstrate and understand
the tools available to install, setup, program and
perform basic troubleshooting skills with the EQ5300
/EQ5400 Weld Controller
- Employ the EQ5300/EQ5400 Weld
Controller and the C1700/C700 Data Entry Panel to
program different applications by setting up working
weld schedules
- Locate and identify the status
of electrical fusing and I/O wiring and correctly
isolate hardware failures
- Describe how current, pressure,
and time effect weld quality
- Adjust the weld schedule to compensate
for non-ideal surface conditions.
