Safe
operating environments through certified networks and equipment
Telemecanique Automation and Control Services network engineers
provide field validation services of installed networks using
the latest in testing equipment for certifying Ethernet and other
communications media, giving you total assurance of a properly
installed industrial communication network. A complete and thorough
inspection of each cabling segment is done to identify current
and potential problems.
The certification service also includes a performance assessment
designed to help you achieve the best results from your existing
network. The assessment provides you with a deep analysis of
your network, measuring and reporting the key parameters required
for a comprehensive view of your current network performance.
It details limitations, traffic patterns, bandwidth utilization,
and potential network degradation. From there, strategies involving
reconfiguration and design are developed to ensure you’ve
achieved maximum performance.
Our network engineers will:
- Scan all media segments with a time domain reflectometer
to ensure proper length and assure compliance with EIA/TIA
and IEEE standards
- Inspect each termination
- Inspect cable routing and strain relief
- Provide detailed report
including all visual, mechanical and electronic test data
- Verify
each device for speed and Ethernet devices for duplex capabilities
- Identify
how each device loads the network and influences communications
- Evaluate
your network for segmentation, cabling, switching and routing
topology rules
- Check environmental variables against manufacturers
specifications that can make or break any network setup including:
temperature, relative humidity, vibration levels, and noise
Once we certify a network cable system you will receive a written
certification ensuring you have the most reliable communication
network. At a minimum, all Modbus Plus, Ethernet and Remote I/O
cable systems should go through this certification process. Additionally,
after certification, we will warrant the entire network.
