A food processor looses communication
due to faulty cable 
This case illustrates an actual customer's problem of repeated
losses of communication with a PLC and the steps Schneider Electric
- Network Certification Services (NCS) took to resolve the problem.
In addition, the NCS Engineer found additional issues that when
addressed, would benefit the customer. Those benefits included
increased performance, reliability and management.

Customer case study 2
End user wants to access PLC remotely
via the web 
The goal of this case was to convey an understanding of LAN and
WAN technology to the end user. The customer's main objectives
were to establish communication with and maintenance of the PLC’s
within the building on Ethernet. The customer also wanted to
communicate with other PLCs at different sites.

single to a dual ring topology
This case illustrates how certification of an existing network
design can warrant design changes. The enclosed recommendations
