Benefits to infrastructure - For infrastructure applications, the Micro PLC performs a multitude of tasks: distributing energy or water, illuminating and ventilating tunnels, or managing the structural technique. Easily integrated in large structures, the Micro PLC guarantees efficiency in its role, coordinating with the entire Premium platform. The universal TCP/IPl interface enables the integration of the Micro in all types of communication environments.

Integration, selection of bases - The base configuration of the Micro PLC includes the power supply (24VDC or 220VAC), CPU with memory, mini operator dialog, as well as the different communication ports. To meet various size needs, the Micro offers a choice of five modular configurations, each offering several levels of integration (I/O, analog, counting) and openness (PCMCIA for communication).

Adaptable capacity, modularity - More than 40 different specialty modules are available, including positioning/rapid counting, measuring and regulation (lower upper level, sensor, thermo element), safety, 24VDC or 220VAC, single or double format, modularity (8, 16, 32, 64). All types of discrete I/O can be used within the same configuration. The Micro PLC can also integrate other components from the Schneider Electric range, such as Altivar® variable speed drives and Magelis® HMI operator terminals, for simple and efficient global solutions.

Exceptional performance - To provide incredibly fast response times, the Micro PLC uses a fast execution time of 0.15µ for Boolean, and a programmable filtering for I/O of 0.1ms to 7.5ms for event processing, coming from application modules and rapid outputs. An exceptional memory capacity allows significant processing volumes, as well as the ability to store received items, history or other production data.
