Powerful
features and maximum flexibility
To meet the growing demand for industrial
Ethernet switching requirements, Schneider Electric has added 16
new managed switches, three fiber-mode modules and a USB back-up
adapter to the Telemecanique ConneXium™ switch line. OEMs and
industrial network designers looking to employ flexible solutions
on machines, or within their plant floor environment, will find the
expanded switch line provides cost-effective options to meet system-specific
requirements.
In addition, ConneXium Ethernet switches support both SNMP and Web-based
management for faster start-up and a user-friendly Web-based interface
from any browser. A choice of security parameters by MAC and IP address
improves individual port security.
Key advantages of the new ConneXium Ethernet switches include:
- Gigabit speed technology that allows the
construction of faster backbones, greatly increasing the bandwidth
in heavily congested applications.
- Complete solutions that can be created
to include other IP67 or IP20 I/O and Ethernet devices.
- A choice of
smaller, higher density and more feature-rich designs that meet
every system requirement.
- Improved management features that provide enhanced
port security, topology discovery, and easier configuration setup.
- Automatic
detection of the topology of system LANs allows for calling up
valuable information form any network management station.
